What We Believe

Confession of Faith:

The Godhead: There is only One God, whose essential nature is love, and who exists eternally and coequally in three Persons, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

The Father: The Father is the infinite and unchangeable Creator and Sustainer of the Universe. He is perfectly revealed in His One and Only Son, Jesus Christ.

The Christ: Jesus: the Son of God, born of a virgin, who lived in a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death.

The Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit is present in the world to make mankind aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Believer from the moment of salvation and empowers Believers for life and ministry.

The Bible: The Bible is God's word to us. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs about living. Because it is inspired by God, it is truth without error.

Salvation: Salvation is the spiritual process of restoration and wholeness with God; spirit, soul and body.

Baptism: water baptism for Repentance, Baptism of the Holy Spirit for Empowerment.

Gifts and Graces: Gifts and Graces are the outworking of the Holy Spirit for Outreach, Edification and Comfort.

The Return of Christ: The Return of Christ is the literal and physical Second Coming of Jesus. His coming will establish His Kingdom here on earth along with all those who believe in Him.

Heaven and Hell: Heaven and Hell are the eternal rewards or consequences based completely on relationship with Jesus Christ. Heaven is reserved for the Believer, Hell is reserved for the un-believer.

Divine Healing and Miracles: Divine Healing and Miracles are God's supernatural power invading the physical, emotional, material and natural world and happenings in you, for you, thru you and around you for His Glory.

Communion: Communion is a sacred connection with the Body (bread) and the Blood (juice) of Jesus.

Marriage: Marriage is a sacred covenant between a man and woman established by God.

Tithe and Offerings: Tithing and Offerings are the privilege and obligation of every Believer to financially support the local Assembly (tithe) and Mission Activity (offering) as tangible Acts of Worship.
